What is Peblet World?
Peblet World is a free Australian money game for primary school children, built by Gemma, a mum of two, with her kids helping shape the fun. Children practise earning, spending, saving, planning and helping their community with pretend money.
What age is it designed for?
Peblet World is designed for Years 2–6. Gentle, Core and Extra learning levels offer different starting points. Prompts are written, so younger readers may appreciate a grown-up nearby to help with the words.
Is it free? Are there purchases later?
The five current app worlds are free to explore as you progress. No subscription or payment is required, and there are no in-game purchases. New worlds unlock through play, not payment.
Does it use real money?
No. Every dollar inside Peblet World is pretend. Children practise with Australian notes and coins without spending real money.
Does my child need to understand money already?
No. Choose Gentle for smaller amounts and a gentler start. A grown-up can help read the prompts and talk through a first job together.
How are parents and teachers involved?
You can choose a learning level and review local progress in Parent / Teacher View. You don’t need to be a money expert. Try asking: “What are you saving for?” or “What did you decide could wait?”
Is Peblet World available now?
Yes. Download Peblet World free on the App Store for iPhone and iPad. Browser play has now closed. Progress stays on each device; it does not automatically sync between the app and website.
Where is progress saved?
Progress stays in app storage on the device. Previous web saves remain in their original browser and can be downloaded at pebletworld.com/web-backup. There is no online child account or automatic cloud sync. A grown-up can export or import a backup in Parent / Teacher View.
