From one parent to another

A little practice before real life.

I wanted my kids to have a chance to practise money choices before their first real pay. So I built a game, with their help. — Gemma

Peblet character

For primary school children, Years 2–6

Children earn pretend money, choose what to spend and save, and help their neighbours. Choose Gentle, Core or Extra in Parent / Teacher View to suit your child.

🧸

A starting point that fits

Gentle offers smaller amounts; Core adds more money choices; Extra brings deeper budgeting and reasoning.

Pretend money only

No ads, in-game purchases, chat or online child accounts. Progress stays on the device.

💬

A little help is welcome

Prompts are written. Younger readers may appreciate a grown-up helping with the words while they make the choices.

What children practise

  • Saving patiently for meaningful goals
  • Recognising needs and wants
  • Thinking ahead before choosing
  • Understanding trade-offs
  • Feeling confident asking questions

Your role stays simple

You do not need to be a financial expert. Be curious about the choices your child made and let them explain their thinking.

Try asking: “What did you choose—and what happened next?”

More than getting a sum right.

Saving for a pet means waiting. Buying something for the house means choosing. Helping a neighbour means thinking about someone else. These are things children get to practise here, alongside their money skills.

Use the same device and player in the app to keep playing from the same place. A grown-up can export a backup in Parent / Teacher View. Previous web players can retrieve a backup at pebletworld.com/web-backup; progress does not transfer automatically.

Explore it together.

All five current worlds are free to explore as your child progresses. The iPhone and iPad app is available now, with no subscription or payment required.
